Hunewill Ranch’s Safe and Healthy Plan
As we prepare to open Hunewill Ranch for our 2020 season, we want to assure everyone that the safety of our guests and employees is paramount to us.
The protocols we are implementing in each of our departments are structured to keep you, your family, our staff, and our family members safe. These protocols include updated and rigorous cleaning for all areas of the ranch, including guest cabins. Multiple outdoor hand-washing stations have been set up around the ranch. In order to maintain social distancing, we have modified how meals are served and are offering four separate dining areas, both indoor and outdoor. Although we are changing a few things in the barnyard to better accommodate physical distancing, the Ranch’s riding program will continue to be second to none, with plenty of fresh air, space, and high mountain scenery. We have modified our evening activities to better maintain safe distances while still offering entertainment and a fun variety of activities. We are continually monitoring the CDC, Governor’s orders, and county directives to ensure that we are following guidelines.
The snow will melt and the meadows will turn green in the Bridgeport Valley this summer, we will be riding across those lush pastures, cooled by high Sierra breezes. So, although our world has changed in so many ways and we at the ranch are rising to meet these updated health and safety needs, we are also still the same timeless place where a week with us creates a lifetime of memories. We look forward to welcoming you for a Hunewill Ranch vacation experience.
