Fall Cattle Work

Work cattle with Hunewill family members. Some of the jobs you’ll do include moving cows, parting cows from the herd, and preparing cattle for shipping to winter pastures. Guests will participate and learn many traditional cowboy skills. This work will be geared towards riders with intermediate to advanced riding abilities.

Fall at the ranch is a time filled with essential cattle work. Whether you’re looking for cattle in the high country, moving cattle closer to the ranch, or parting calves from cows, these activities are the essence of this timeless Hunewill tradition.   Designed for intermediate to advanced riders, this immersive experience lets you ride one of our ranch horses, or you can bring your own.
