Hunewill Guest Ranch All Inclusive -

Enjoy a week long vacation at our ranch! Week long stays include: 3 great meals a day, 6 days of horseback riding with our wranglers in the beautiful Bridgeport Valley and surrounding mountains, and 7 nights lodging in our comfortable cabins. Also included are enjoyable evening activities such as creek-side cookouts, campfire sing-alongs, hayrides, roping practice, square dancing, and a talent night.
Our 7 day stay gives you the opportunity to enjoy all our ranch has to offer: riding, relaxing, breathtaking scenery, friendships, and more, from sunrise to sunset. Check in after 3pm on Saturday and depart the following Saturday after breakfast.

Relax on a hayride, walk down the ranch road at sunset, perform at talent night, and enjoy the other ranch activities. Rate includes meals Friday dinner through Tuesday breakfast, horseback riding (two rides a day) Saturday through Monday, and lodging Friday night through Monday night.

Spring Cattle Work |

Work cattle with a member of the Hunewill Family at both their Smith Valley and Bridgeport ranches. Some of the jobs you’ll do include moving cows, parting cows from the herd, and possibly branding and doctoring. Guests will be able to participate and learn many traditional cowboy skills. This work will be geared towards riders with intermediate to advanced riding skills.
Rate includes meals Tuesday dinner through Saturday breakfast, riding and cattle work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and lodging Tuesday night through Friday night.

The week of the Buckaroo Moon |

This special week will include a moonlight ride and barbeque under a full Buckaroo Moon, campfire and singing by our pond, a walking historical tour of the ranch, a once in a lifetime horseback ride and tour in the Ghost town of Bodie, team penning and trailer loading on horseback; culminating on Friday with a special cattle gather in the Sweetwater Mountains. All this, as well as our wonderful meadow rides, cattle moves, square dancing, and the ranch's western hospitality.

The Big Fall Cattle Gather |

Spend a week gathering our cows out of the high country and driving them back to the ranch. Enjoy camping out under the stars for two nights (optional), chuck wagon meals, cowboy music, and long satisfying days in the saddle during this traditional end of summer cowboy event.

Hunewill Ranch Cattle Drive |

You’ll help move 600 to 750 head of cattle 60 miles from the Bridgeport ranch to our winter ranch in Smith Valley, Nevada. The beautiful scenery and the tradition of the cattle drive combine to give you a memorable experience.
You must have intermediate to advanced riding skills to participate in this drive. The cattle drive takes place rain, snow, or shine, so be prepared for all types of weather!

Deposit Requirements for Reservations
Deposit requirements are approximately 50% of your stay. No reservation is confirmed until deposit is received.
Cancellation/Deposit Refund Policy
Deposit refund, less a 25% office fee per deposit, will be made only if we are able to fill the vacant space left by your cancellation. No refund of deposit if cancellation is made with less than 21 days notice to us. Guests concerned with loss of deposit may want to consider purchasing Trip Insurance.
